The Trails
The Trails of Davalon are a beautiful testament to the wonders of nature. There is no hunting here and the wildlife is quite comfortable in the knowledge that they are safe, respected and loved. We began the trails several years ago and they quickly became the focus of the farm as we continue their development. We now have approximately 6.5 miles worth that meander down the old Hickory lined laneway planted by the original settlers. You will pass by the original farm house from 1851, wander down "Adirondack Way " through the cedar and my personal favourite "Dante's Run" which makes a wonderful spot for a gentle canter or splash through the pond at " Moe's Grove". Stop for a rest or a picnic and just enjoy the beautiful welcoming atmosphere. Most of the trails are wide enough for people who like to drive their horses on something other than a track. Groups are welcome for day rides and arrangements can be made with Dannielle to stable overnight and enjoy an entire weekend with your friends. Contact us for daily or monthly rates.
